How it works

Working with a Goals Surgeon

  1. 01

    First Visit

Sit down with a surgeon, talk through what you want, and hear what your body allows.

  2. 02

    A Plan Built for You

The surgeon fits the procedure to your anatomy, routine and the look you want.

  3. 03

    Health Check

Before surgery, you complete lab tests and medical clearance. Your surgeon uses the results to decide if the procedure is a good match for you.

  4. 04

    Prepping for Surgery

You get clear, specific instructions to ready your body in the days beforehand.

  5. 05

    Operation

Surgery happens in an accredited Goals clinic, with careful protocols the whole way through.

  6. 06

    Healing & Check-Ins

About a month after surgery, you see your surgeon in person or by video. Your other follow-ups are with a member of the surgical team.

FAQ

Common Questions About Our Surgeons

At your consultation, we check which surgeons work at your clinic and offer your procedure. You can read each surgeon's profile first. Your surgeon then reviews your case to check the procedure is a good match for you.

Yes. Every Goals surgeon holds an active state medical license. Each surgeon's profile shows where they are licensed and their training.

It depends on where you live. Goals has 9 clinics in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Georgia, Texas and California. Each surgeon card shows the clinics where that surgeon works. Some clinics ask you to call for availability.

Your surgeon decides, based on your health and your procedure. Many body contouring procedures use local anesthesia, so you stay awake and comfortable. This can help lower some risks of surgery. Some surgeries and some patients need general anesthesia. Both have risks.

Ask about revisions at your consultation, before you book. Revisions are not common, but they can happen. Ask how they work, how long they take, and what they cost.

Yes. We can help you plan your trip. Plan to stay within 20 miles of your clinic for at least 5 days after surgery, so your care team can see you. Our travel guide lists airports and hotels near our New York and Atlanta clinics.
