One of our newest high-tech treatments is Cryotherapy, in our state-of-the-art, full-body cryotherapy chamber available right on site!
What is Cryotherapy?
Sometimes known as cold-air therapy, cryotherapy is a procedure in which the patient walks into our full-body chamber for a predetermined period of time, in order to get a number of different benefits. Our full-body chamber exposes patients to a fresh, dry air at anywhere from 30-45 degrees. The air has been oxygenated in order to help prevent adverse skin reactions and to prevent pain or discomfort during the treatment. Depending on your needs, the treatment can last anywhere from 1 to 4 minutes.
Cryotherapy for Weight Loss
The cryotherapy process is designed to rejuvenate the body, skin and mind in a number of different ways – allowing patients to look and feel better than when they came. One of the best reasons to try Cryotherapy is for its weight loss benefits.
While it might not simply freeze away the pounds, it increases metabolism, and has been known to stimulate fat loss in many patients.

Am I a Good Candidate?
In short, most patients are excellent candidates for cryotherapy and can experience a wide range of benefits from the treatment. Cryotherapy is popular amongst athletes and those who suffer from chronic pain, arthritis, and other muscle/joint issues. In addition, some research has shown that cryotherapy has been used to eliminate cancerous cells – therefore it may be especially helpful to individuals suffering from certain diseases and conditions.
However, if you have any adverse health conditions, or have recently undergone a procedure of any kind, it is important to make us aware of this before treatment. While it may actually help your healing and recovery from surgery, depending on the procedure and your specific timeline, it may not be for you. Also, if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure or certain heart conditions, you should avoid cryotherapy.
